- The Expresso package builds upon the effectiveness of the RS Turboflow plate heat exchanger. Both the plate heat exchanger and the insulated buffer vessel are made of austenitic stainless steel. The plate heat exchanger delivers water at the required
temperature within 3 seconds. The domestic hot water buffer storage is a safeguard against peak demand and reduces boiler cycling. The pre-fabricated compact design streamlines the boiler house. - The RS Turboflow plate heat exchanger is also available for chilled and glycol water, steam, pool water, borehole waters, sea water, district heating, CHP, differential pressure and solar heating. For these and other requirements, a variety of plate heat
exchanger metals, together with a variety of gaskets and brazings, are carried in stock or on rapid response. - C20 buffer vessel insulated stainless steel vessel.
- The S20 calorifier with serpentine coil is composed of stainless steel and is long-lasting, hygienic, resists scale and is efficient at heat transfer.
The GX-D commercial/large domestic twin-wall indirect cylinder is double-walled and corrugated for strength and has built-in controls. It has a working pressure of 10Bar secondary, 3Bar primary, and a temperature of 110°C. Available in capacities of 200,
300 and 500 litres.
Composition and manufacture
Expresso has a prefabricated, compact design that streamlines the boiler house. Both the plate heat exchanger and the insulated buffer vessel are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel. The plate
heat exchanger has a herringbone design and each plate is 0.5mm thick.
Capacities
The standard working range of the Expresso package RS Turboflow plate heat exchanger is from 30 to 700 kW. The C20 insulated buffer vessel ranges from 300 litres to 2,500 litres.
The standard working range of the Mini Expresso package RS Turboflow plate heat exchanger is from 15 to 90kW. The C20 insulated buffer vessel from 80 to 500 litres.
Larger packages can be developed upwards of 700kW to 2,500 litres.
The working pressure is 8Bar secondary and 10Bar primary with a temperature of 90°C.
In stock are ranges of 300, 500, 750, 1,000 and 1,500 litres, with heat inputs of 38, 55, 89, 104
and 138kW. Any size between 50 and 10,000 litres is available to order.
Technical data
Depending on the model and water input temperature, Expresso has an output of 15 to 700kW and provides a peak hot water output of 774 to 13,860 litres/hour, primary at 80°C, secondary at 60°C.
