Overview

AmbiRad develops and manufactures high-quality, environmentally friendly, energy- and cost-efficient heating systems, fuelled by natural gas, LPG or oil. All products are certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, and tested and approved to the prevailing standard for particular worldwide markets, with full CE approval on all European sales.

AmbiRad Vision

AmbiRad Vision is the next generation in energy-efficient radiant tube heating, developed to deliver industry-leading space-heating performance in commercial and industrial buildings. Its advanced burner technology reduces fuel consumption, noise levels and emissions.

• the inclusion of a recuperative heat exchanger on VSXE and VSXO models (patent P308150GB), mounted adjacent to the burner housing, significantly increases radiant efficiencies up to 71%
• very low NOx emissions, as low as 55ppm on certain models
• all models can be roof or wall mounted

Nor-Ray-Vac

Nor-Ray-Vac gas-fired continuous radiant tube-heating systems offer the widest range of burner inputs of any continuous radiant system.

The Nor-Ray-Vac system is designed to provide uniform heat coverage over an entire floor area.

Warm air unit heaters

AmbiRad’s extensive range of gas-fired warm air unit heaters includes the new UESA condensing series. Incorporating a titanium stabilised, aluminized-steel primary heat exchanger, with an extruded-aluminium MacroChannelSM secondary heat exchanger, and together with advanced burner technology, the UESA delivers class-leading performance:

• 104% efficiency at full load
• 4 sizes available with outputs ranging from 35 to 102kW
• vibration- and noise-isolated fan motor
• sealed control department, isolating all electrical components
• 25% lighter than previous condensing models
• simple installation

SmartCom

In order to satisfy the increasing need for higher efficiencies, and to complement the development of efficient heating systems, AmbiRad has introduced SmartCom, a new range of versatile controls. Simple to program and operate, SmartCom aims to provide
cost-effective energy for smaller heater installations through to large, multi-zone applications requiring centralised control.

• accurate time and temperature control, combined with self-adapting optimum start
• listed on the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) Scheme

Performance

Vision: choice of burner ratings from 15 to 50kW.
Nor-Ray-Vac: includes six natural gas or propane burner models from 12 to 46kW.
UESA: 4 sizes with outputs ranging from 35 to 102kW.
UDSA/UDSB: horizontal and vertical downflow models available from 11 to 97kW.
UPA: available in six models, providing a choice of heat outputs from 27 to 91kW.
UCA: available in seven model sizes with outputs from 24 to 93kW.
EnviroAir: choice of heat outputs from 24 to 95kW.

AmbiRad sells its extensive range of products through a network of heating contractors based in the UK. Area sales managers are experienced in site support, and will address any problems relating to the design, installation or assembly of the company’s equipment.
