In 1988 Abacus Lighting achieved certification through the Lloyds Register for its Quality management System to BS 5750:Part 1 covering the company's full range of products and services offered. During 1994 Abacus was successful in attaining the updated standards to BS EN ISO 9001. In 2001 Abacus successfully achieved certification to the third edition ISO 9001:2000. In 2003, Abacus Lighting was certified as an ISO 14001:1996 registered company, reflecting its commitment to protecting the environment.
