Rainscreen cladding: Alcowall® RainscreenAlcowall® Rainscreen features an exceptionally versatile support system, which carries metal and stone materials, such as aluminium, Alucobond®, enamelled and stainless steel, zinc and aluminium composite cassette panels, marble, granite, terracotta, ceramic and Glasal.
Alcowall® systems are suitable for new-build projects and for overcladding existing buildings for aesthetic and thermal improvements: architectural facades, wall cladding, rear ventilated walls, roof edging, fascias, balconies and canopies.
The system allows for design flexibility, such as curved surfaces, special architectural features and bespoke projects.

Composition and manufacture
Alcowall® metal rainscreen panels fabricated from aluminium 2 to 4mm thickness, stainless steel 1.2 to 2mm thickness, zinc 1.2 to 2mm thickness, and aluminium-composite materials Alucobond® Reynobond and Alucomat 3 to 6mm thickness. Alucore® honeycomb 6 to 25mm thickness.
Size and weight
Panel sizes are extremely flexible within the constraints of metal-sheet standard sizes.
Alucobond® cassette panel: up to 1,500mm width and up to 8,000mm length.
Typical weight: 5 to 10kg/m2.
Appearance
Rainscreen panels available in anodised, pre-colour coated finishes and polyester powder coated to BS 6496. Colour range includes over 100 high-gloss or matt and metallic colours. Alucobond® also available in eight iridescent Spectra colours and 10 metallic colours. Otefal DWall Iridium available in 15 iridescent colours.
Thermal properties
A range of insulation materials is available to achieve the required U values.
