Recent Projects/Case Studies


Elmhurst Ballet School, Birmingham. Ashzip™ standing-seam roofing system was installed at the purpose-built complex, on a 5 acre site.


Gleeson Homes, Crawley. The Gleeson Inspire apartment block was refurbished with the Ashjack™ curved roof and finished with the Ashzip™ standing-seam roof.


The Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry. Ashzip™ standing-seam roofing system used as part of a multi-purpose development, on a 125 hectare site. Ashzip™ 400 self-curved roof was employed to achieve the required thermal insulation levels.


Guernsey Airport, Channel Islands. A number of products from the Ashfab™ range of architectural fabrications were installed to create a high-tech front entrance to the new terminal, which is designed to handle 1.25 million passengers a year.


Sapphire Heights, Birmingham. Focus Housing Association developed 63 dwellings in a series of four and five storey flats. The Ashjack™ system was used to provide a very low pitch for the roof, that is also weatherproof.


Wolseley House, Staffordshire Technology Park. A complete package of Ashfab™ perimeter detailing and rainwater goods was supplied to create a visually appealing effect.


Benmore Estate, Optima Community Association, Birmingham. Ash & Lacy supplied a complete roofing package as part of a re-development programme. Ashzip™, Ashfab™ and Ashfix™ products were all used as part of this project.


Wanstead High School, Redbridge. A new 28m radius, curved standing-seam roof has been created on the new sixth form block, using 300m² of 0.9mm Ashzip™.


Feniscowles Primary School, Blackburn. Refurbishment of the existing flat roof using the Ashjack™ over-roof conversion system.


IKEA, Cardiff. Special decorative pieces supplied by Ash & Lacy were used to add to the visual impact of the building.The most spectacular features, from the Ashfab™ architectural fabrication range, are the large aluminium aerofoil bullnoses.
