Fixings/fasteners: Ashfix™The Ashfix™ range of roofing and cladding fastener systems has evolved through extensive research and development,
on-site experience and extensive testing and engineering.
The range includes stainless-steel, carbon steel and colour-headed options to provide a fixing solution for light and heavy built-up and composite-panel applications. Fastener lengths are available to accommodate most construction elements. Drill points are designed to optimise hole diameter to thread engagement, therefore ensuring very good holding-power performance.
The fasteners are produced to the company’s design and performance specifications, following stringent quality control procedures. The fixings undergo further testing procedures at a testing facility at the company’s West Bromwich headquarters.
The fastener systems provide a high-quality cost-effective solution that meets the highest quality and performance requirements.
Manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 9000:2000, they comply with BS 5427-1:1996.
Composition and manufacture
Ashfix fasteners are manufactured from grade 304 austenitic stainless steel or carbon steel. Both are specially coated to protect the drill points, following fastener placement. The coatings comply with the requirements of DIN 50018 and DIN 50021.
Accessories
Branded accessories include rivets, sealants, fillers, power tools and insulation.
Appearance
Ashfix colour-headed fasteners are available in a range of BS and RAL colours, such as Alaska Grey, Heritage Green and Wedgwood Blue. All other non-standard BS and RAL colours can be supplied on a bespoke basis. These may be subject to minimum order quantities.

A fully-trained distribution team is available to discuss specific project requirements, perform site demonstrations and offer general application advice. Same-day collection and next-day deliveries are available.
