Patent glazingAlco Beldan is traditionally known for its range of internal sliding and folding partition systems. The company also designs, manufactures and installs a variety of specialist glazing solutions utilising one of Europe’s foremost advanced aluminium systems. Systems include curtain walling, fixed windows, tilt-and-turn windows, sliding/folding windows and doors, ground floor treatment, shopfronts, balustrades, large sliding doors, structurally silicone-bonded frameless glazed lights, patent-glazing roof bards and thermally-broken patio door systems. Alco Beldan particularly specialises in providing a variety of balcony glazing solutions.
Work is undertaken alongside clients to create one-off designs and ensure that details are in keeping with the specifier’s design requirements. Weathertight glazing may be single, double or triple glass. All facade systems are thermally insulated and conform to Part L of The Building Regulations. Alco Beldan’s most favoured curtain wall system is compatible with the vent styles, and for non-visible windows a frameless structurally-glazed vent is available. Bespoke solutions are available to meet project and performance requirements.
Composition and manufacture
All systems are manufactured using extruded aluminium and alloy sections.
Size and weight
50, 60, 70 and 80mm profiles are available on a variety of systems.
Appearance
Special profile designs can be accommodated for curtain walling. Cover caps are available for most situations. All products can be anodised or finished in a choice of RAL powder coatings.
