Alco Beldan has been designing, manufacturing and installing acoustic movable walls and sliding folding partitions throughout the world for over 30 years. The company's acoustic panels have been designed and developed in association with sister company Nüsing of Germany and are able to achieve a certified acoustic rating of up to 59dB, which is of the highest rating achieved for these systems. Continual development has led to the opening of Alco Beldan's internal acoustic laboratory; one of the first of its kind within the industry in the United Kingdom.
In 1996, the company started to develop a range of glass partitions and door systems and further developments have led the company into manufacturing complete glazing envelope packages which include not only traditional sliding folding door systems but also tilt and turn windows, glass balustrades and structural glazing. The best-selling systems achieve Group C in the weather test and hold certificates to DIN 18055.
Alco Beldan's products have been installed in many prestigious buildings around the world including sports stadiums, commercial institutions, high street stores and leading hotel chains. The company are committed to the highest standards of design, build quality and service. The company's continued expansion at their manufacturing base in Loughborough has seen three new adjacent factory units to add to their manufacturing capacity in the last few years. Alco Beldan plans to continue its development programme and remain at the forefront of the industry for many years to come.
