Glazed folding partitions are factory finished and supplied with all the necessary door furniture and glazing complete. Delivery direct from the factory ready for installation avoids the delays associated with building conventional glass partitions on site.
The system is ideal for offices, hotels, restaurants or canteens. Wherever there is a requirement for maximum flexibility, whilst retaining the visual appearance of the room, the system provides an ideal solution.
Composition and manufacture
The panels consist of electrostatically-painted aluminium profiles and 6mm toughened glass. Panels can be fitted with cross bars, horizontally or diagonally positioned. The panels are equipped with sweep seals to reduce sound leakage. Although standard panels are continuously hinged, they are available as individual panels with two-point suspension, which offers the additional benefit of stacking the panels remotely away from the main line of track. On the continuously hinged type, the last panel is constructed as a pass door, which allows access from one room to the other without operating all the panels. An inset pass door is available with the individual panel system.
