Sliding/folding partitions: Visioplan Type 40, 60, 100Visioplan is a high-quality, versatile range of sliding/folding partitions comprising custom-built panels continuously hinged from a wall jamb.
The range varies from the most economical, Type 40, which is ideal where low acoustic performance is acceptable, to upgraded versions, Types 60 and 100, which are intended for use in environments where a high-quality appearance, coupled with improved levels of acoustic performance, is required.
All systems are top-hung without floor track and Types 60 and 100 can also be floor supported. They can be parked on one side or, when needed, be divided in the middle and parked to either side. The last panel, or if bi-parting then one of the centre two panels, always acts as a communicating door. When folding, the panels can run along the track either centrally or eccentrically with an overhang to one side. Individual features are summarised below.
Composition and manufacture
Type 40: honeycomb core doors with a 9mm board, single-sweep seal.
Type 60: 15mm particle-board faces, Rockwool slabs infill. Aluminium edge profiles, double-sweep seals.
Type 100: as Type 60 with added particle-board infill.
Size and weight
Panel height: 4m maximum.
Panel width: 450 to 850mm.
Finished thickness: 40, 68 and 100mm.
Panel weight varies with sound-reduction level: Type 40, 22kg/m2; Type 60, 24 to 41kg/m2; Type 100, 40kg/m2.
Appearance
Painted/melamine and full range of timber veneers. Edge profiles can be colour coated.
Effect of fire
Surface spread of flame and full fire-rated types available.
Sound properties
Type 40: Rw 25dB; Type 60: Rw 38 to 43dB; Type 100: Rw 45 to 46dB.
