Alco Beldan NW 100 G with glazed panels can be supplied with single glazing, but double glazing is essential for sound insulated walls. The glazing can be frosted and/or decorated, or one-way mirrored, Georgian wired or patterned.
Alco Beldan NW 100 SE is semi-automatic with 24V motor for top and bottom horizontal seals and for vertical seals on the telescopic panel.
Alco Beldan NW 100 F is a fire-resistant movable wall to DIN 4102, Part 2, which provides 30mins fire resistance when closed, with the top and bottom seals extended.
Alco Beldan NW 100 RS is a modified movable wall to provide smoke protection classification to DIN 18095, Part 2.
Alco Beldan NW 115 F is a high performance, fire-resisting movable wall, providing 60mins separation when in closed position. This special wall also provides smoke protection and high acoustic performance up to Rw 54dB when tested to the European standards ISO 140-3:1995 and BS EN ISO 140-3:1995.
Composition and manufacture
Basic constructions and materials as Alco Beldan NW 100 but with special materials as follows: 100 SE and 115 F always have a steel frame; 100 F is of all-timber construction, including top and bottom seals and inter-panel joints.
Size and weight
Panel thickness: 100mm. Height: up to 8,000mm (10,000mm possible with special construction), except 100 F which can only be 4,100mm maximum.
Effect of fire
When closed, Alco Beldan NW 100 F gives 30mins fire resistance, and NW 115 F provides 60mins fire resistance.
Sound properties
Sound reduction to Rw 54dB to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995.
