Multi-foil insulation, roof: TRISO-SUPER 10, under rafterTRISO-SUPER 10 thin, thermo-reflective insulation is ideal for pitched-roof over-rafter, under-rafter, attic conversions and dormer applications.
In an under-rafter application, TRISO-SUPER 10 has the specific advantage of maximising the available internal space, due to the relative thinness of the construction. The product is only 30mm thick, and is thermally equivalent to 210mm of mineral wool*.
Scientifically designed in a laboratory and validated under real-life conditions, TRISO-SUPER 10 provides thermal insulation which is heat-reflective, counteracting all modes of heat transfer all year round. It is highly effective in retaining heat inside in winter, and reflecting infra-red radiation in the summer, therefore preventing the overheating of attic rooms.
ACTIS Insulation products are particularly recommended for home renovation purposes, and enable period features, such as exposed beams, to be preserved.
TRISO-SUPER 10 can be used for walls around pitched-roof installations, such as dwarf walls, dormer walls and gable ends, as long as these constitute less than 40% of the overall insulated area.

Composition and manufacture
TRISO-SUPER 10 is composed of 19 components: two metallic films with reinforcing mesh, three wadding layers, eight foam layers and six internal reflective films.

Sitework
TRISO-SUPER 10 is quick and easy to install; the product can be cut to size with sharp scissors or an ACTIS cutter, and is free from migrant fibres, so no protective equipment is required.
