BollardsFor over 45 years, Autopa® Limited has manufactured and supplied parking posts, bollards, barriers, vehicle-access control and cycle-storage equipment. Autopa® now offers a wide range of parking and vehicle control products in a variety of materials, finishes and colours. The company’s manufacturing processes are quality controlled to BS EN ISO 9001:2000; this affords control and flexibility in manufacture.
Autopa® hinged posts, removable posts and fixed bollards are used individually or in conjunction to form an efficient parking and access-control system. Hinged posts are designed for the reservation of car-park bays; only the authorised user’s key will release the mechanism.
Removable posts form rigid barriers to prevent all but the authorised key holder. EB100 and EB200 bollards are attractive and easily fixed, with a high-strength galvanised-steel core and consist of a rugged, self-coloured casing sleeve made from recycled polyethylene. The new DDA 100 bollard now meets DDA requirements.
Steel bollards are available from Autopa® in mild steel, stainless steel and ornamental designs. Colour coated, removable and anti-ram options are also available.
Autopa® also supplies 100% recycled mixed-plastic waste products. Durable, long-life, high-impact strength and flexible, the products are vandal and graffiti resistant and can be recycled.
Polyurethane bollards are also available from Autopa®. Typically, these weigh 35% of their cast-iron equivalent. Polyurethane bollards do not corrode, are very durable, and will not shatter under severe impact. Illuminated and automatic bollards are also available from Autopa®.
