Gates/opening barriersAutopa® Limited manufactures and supplies barriers, bollards, security and parking posts, access-control plates, cycle stands and shelters.
The Autopa® automatic arm barrier is capable of over one million operations per year. Suitable for high- and low-density usage, from international airports, shopping complexes and hotels to small commercial premises. Offering reliability, economy and simple maintenance, the barriers comply with BS 6571:Part 4 and meet EU directives on electromagnetic compatibility, low voltage and machinery. The AU3.0 and AU6.0 models carry the mandatory CE mark.
The range also includes manual rising-arm barriers, height restrictors, perimeter barriers, swing gates, and one-way flow plates.
Autopa® now supplies a range of electrically-operated rising bollards. Consult manufacturer for further details.
Composition and manufacture
Autopa® automatic arm-barrier cabinets are 2mm thick, galvanised and steel coated, with an epoxy powder-coat finish in Blue and Grey; other colours are optional.
Perimeter barriers are manufactured from a mild-steel tube to 1,000mm in height and 2,500mm in length. Supplied with central legs or central horizontal rails, many configurations are available. Perimeter barriers are galvanised and/or plastic coated in PPA 571, or a range of paint finished colours. The one-way traffic flow control plate is produced from heavy-duty steel, galvanised to
BS EN ISO 1461, with top plate and flap painted Yellow. Height restrictors and swing gates are galvanised-steel construction painted Red/White with Class 2 reflectors.
Accessories
A range of accessories is available for automatic arm barriers, including swipe and proximity card actuations, push buttons, key pads, induction-loop detectors, radios, infra-red beams, intercoms, remote control, lights, sirens, jack-knife booms and counters.
