Hospital/medical equipment: IPS HealthcareArmitage Venesta has supplied IPS, pre-plumbed sanitaryware units to the healthcare sector for over 45 years, gaining extensive industry knowledge and expertise.
IPS Healthcare is supplied as framed duct panel units, with sanitaryware factory fitted and tested before delivery, resulting in quicker and easier site installation and providing a higher-quality finished product than an equivalent, site-assembled solution.
To aid specification, IPS Healthcare offers products that are fully compliant to include all the revisions in HTM 64: Sanitary Assemblies, Third Edition 2006 and to meet and exceed the requirement of current NHS Estates guidelines.
Composition and manufacture
To reduce the risk of damage and provide easier on-site handling and manoeuvrability, IPS Healthcare can be delivered in two phases.
Site frame: extruded-aluminium base and headrails, rolled-metal wall channels.
Sub-frame: rolled, galvanised-steel section with bracing board in 17mm MR chipboard. Sub-frame installed within aluminium site frame by click-fix, nylon-location brackets. Back panels fixed to steel section by BZP mild-steel joggle clips.
Washbasin: fixed to back panel and sealed with White silicone sealant at the factory complete with waste and traps. The concealed hot and cold services in 15mm copper pipe terminate behind the bottom or top access panel as required. The waste pipe from the trap terminates with a multi-fit outlet.
WCs: supplied loose to be fixed on site. Cisterns are assembled, tested and fixed to the unit at the factory, with overflow and supply terminating at the cistern unless otherwise stated.
WC cubicles: Armitage Venesta has an extensive range of complementary cubicles.

Performance
IPS Healthcare is available in three performance options: Melamine faced, with 19mm
high-performance, 730kg/m3 grade, moisture resistant chipboard.
High-pressure laminate produced with 17mm, V313 moisture-resistant, 680kg/m3 grade chipboard. Panels faced both sides with high-pressure laminate to an overall thickness of 19mm.
Solid-grade laminate incorporates 13mm thick panels, resistant to impact and impervious to water.
