Cycle storageFalco was founded in 1951 and during five decades has developed a comprehensive range of street-furniture products including bicycle racks, shelters and canopies.
For parking the bicycle there is a wide range of options, from the A-11 and Ideal series of front-wheel racks with fastening post and hoop optional attachments, to the 41, 60 and 78mm diameter Sheffield-linked FalcoFlex and FalcoFix cycle hoops. Additionally there are wall-mounted clamps, U-Lok locking stands and the Falcomaat Carousel rotating vertical system for bicycle shops and indoor situations.
The Falco range of shelters in 4,000mm long sections starts with a frame and roof with a further choice of back and side walls. For walls, aluzinc or hardwood lattice can be selected. The 23.0 Series and its double-sided variant 23.5 Series are at a cost entry level with the 26.0 and 27.0 Series offering enhanced features.
For secure lock-up facilities, there is the 20 Series with lower steel walls and upper safety-glass windows or the 27.2, 27.3 and 27.5 Series which include the option of steel grid walls in addition to the choice of Aluzinc, hardwood lattice and 8mm safety glass.
For larger areas requiring heavy-duty structures, there are the 29.3 Series single-sided and 29.4 Series double-sided cantilevered structures with a width of 5,100 and 4,500mm between columns.
The latest design, the Navaho 65.5 Series, is 5,000 x 5,000mm and as well as offering double-sided cycle parking for up to
28 bicycles can also be used as a general shelter for smoking and other purposes; side walls are also available.
Composition and manufacture
All steel components are hot-dip galvanised after all due processing, conforming with BS EN ISO 1461 for long-term protection against corrosion. A colour finish can also be applied to the galvanised steel in a choice from the RAL Colour Register. All
powder-coating finishes carry a Qualicoat certificate. For hardwood-timber lattice wall, FSC timber is available. All products are provided with a 12 month warranty.
