Cycle storageFalco was founded in 1951 and during more than five decades has developed a full range of street-furniture products including bicycle racks, shelters and canopies.
For parking there is a wide range of options from A-11 and Ideal series of front-wheel racks with fastening post and hoop attachments to the 41, 60 and 79mm diameter tube Sheffield-derivation and linked FalcoFlex and FalcoFix. Also available are wall-mounted clamps, U-Lok locking stands and the Falcomaat Carousel rotating vertical system for bicycle shops and confined locations. The most recent introduction is the Triangle range of cycle parking racks conforming to the Dutch Fietsparkeur standard.
The Falco range of clear canopies combines interesting and attractive designs with clear visibility for surveillance. With a choice of acrylate or polycarbonate, colour tints are also available. The 76.3 Series FalcoLite and 63.0 Series FalcoMega offer curved roof and back wall designs, with the option of a cover over the central walkway when two shelters are placed opposite each other.
The Triangle Series 68 is available with single- or double-side options. The roof is made of either Aluzinc or 10mm safety glass. The end walls can be configured in several layouts and lighting options are available. The Rondo 80.0 Series has columns at 1,500mm intervals, and in single-sided format is 1,800 or 2,400mm deep.
For double-sided parking the depths are 4,200 and 4,500mm. The canopies illustrated can be formed into lock-up facilities.
Composition and manufacture
All steel components are hot-dip galvanised after processing, conforming with BS EN ISO 1461 for long-term protection against corrosion. A colour finish can also be applied to the galvanised steel in a choice from the RAL Colour Register. All powder coating finishes carry a Qualicoat certificate. For hardwood-timber lattice walls, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) timber is available. All products are provided with a 12 month warranty.
Sitework
Installation of the columns is carried out on site into concrete foundations; pre-cast blocks are also available.
