Composition and manufacture
The product range consists of high-performance over-rebated casement windows; slide only and slide-and-tilt windows hung on spiral balances; flush casement windows; fully reversible casements; external pre-hung doorsets and PVC-U cavity closers/formers.

Classification for weathertightness and guidance on selection and specification’; BS 7950, ‘Specification for enhanced security performance of casement and tilt/turn windows in domestic applications’; factory glazing to BS 8000 and GGF recommendations; up to 28mm double-glazed units to BS 5713, ‘Specification for hermetically sealed flat double glazing units’; energy efficiency-rated windows to comply with The Building Regulations Part L.

Arden Windows is firmly committed to improve its carbon footprint and environmental impact. Where specified, softwood windows are manufactured from well-managed forests that are FSC approved, and the company now uses a water-based boron-wood preservative to reduce its use of VOCs that are known to have detrimental environmental side-effects.
