Robust construction and reliable operation make automatic rising bollards one of the most effective ways of managing traffic and protecting pedestrians.

ATG Access manufactures a full range of automatic bollards to provide solutions to all levels of security and traffic management.

There are 3 levels of automatic bollard varying in size, level of protection, intelligence and operability:

Level 1: residential/small commercial applications.
Level 2: for access control/traffic management.
Level 3: high-security/anti-terrorist applications.

Each bollard is manufactured, accredited and certified to an appropriate level. At Level 1 the bollards rely completely on the user to ensure they are operated safely. Further up the range, intelligent bollards are able to operate automatically on demand from remote access control or via tags on vehicles. The higher end of the range is fully Highways Agency approved; ATG Access being the first bollard manufacturer to achieve this accolade.

Each of ATG Access’s automatic bollards has a static equivalent; this includes the anti-terrorist products which also have shallow-mount options available. This is an advanced, revolutionary structure allowing a bollard to be installed in a foundation of just 112mm which is capable of arresting a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 40mph.

Manual and fixed bollards:

ATG Access’s manual and fixed product family consists of manually operated retractable security posts, lift-out perimeter hoops, specialist pedestrian posts and Retractacast bollards, and their fixed equivalents.

The family consists of products at various diameters and heights:
90mm square, 670mm tall.
101mm round, 500mm tall.
101mm round, 670mm tall.
114mm round, 670mm tall.
114mm round, 900mm tall.
139mm round, 900mm tall.
168mm round, 900mm tall.
76mm hoop barriers.

These are split into four ranges:

Core range: galvanised bollards, static hoops and removable hoops.
Mid range: as Core range but finished in Black. Premier range: as Core and Mid ranges but includes stainless steel as an option.
Ultimate range: impact-tested manual bollard and specialist bespoke designs.
