ARVAL offers one of the widest ranges of structural decks and trays in the UK, capable of providing structural support for lightweight roof and wall constructions, such as secret-fix roof systems, single-ply roofing, metal cladding and rainscreen systems. Spans up to 9.8 metres are possible, allowing purlins and cladding rails to be eliminated and enabling a clean, smooth, uncluttered appearance.
Decks and trays are available plain, galvanised or colour coated for a striking internal finish. The decks and trays are also available perforated for acoustic solutions. In addition, the inherent strength advantages of structural decks and trays are ideal for advanced building techniques in lateral restraint and diaphragm construction engineering.
Composition and manufacture
Manufactured from structural grade galvanised steel, the product is cold rolled formed.
Structural decks are also available in aluminium.

Size and weight
A wide range of products are available. Decks from 31 to 200mm depth. Trays from 90 to 160mm depth. Gauges or thickness varies from 0.7 to 1.25mm. The choice of profile and gauge are dependent on span and applied loads.
Decks: typical cover widths range from 840 to 1,035mm.
Trays: cover widths 500 and 600mm.
Lengths: the company advises that the length is restricted to 12m maximum, longer lengths are available.
Appearance
Decks and trays are available as standard in either plain, galvanised or internal quality-polyester finish. Other coatings are available.
