Steam roomsAmber Leisure Limited has been manufacturing in the UK since 1979 and offers a broad range of saunas and steam rooms, for both domestic and commercial applications, able to cater for all levels of specification, from budget price to deluxe.
All steam rooms are equipped with a top quality steam generator, which includes a number of control options; a full range of accessory items is also available.
Enclosures combine steam bathing with showering to offer a convenient solution in many situations; larger models provide seating for two people.
Composition and manufacture
Turkish rooms are manufactured using a three-layer system of solid-timber framework, lined with a treated laminate, before final cladding with interlocking plastic planks. Benches are fabricated from aluminium sections with reinforced-plastic slats. This system is flexible and allows for varying customer sizes.
Roman steam rooms are constructed from glass-fibre reinforced, acrylic-moulded sections, which are bolted together to form a range of rooms of specific sizes.
Size and weight
Enclosure sizes start with a 1 person model at 800 x 800mm.
Turkish rooms start at 1,340 x 1,340mm and continue up to 2,500 x 3,700mm, plus special sizes.
Roman rooms start at 2,120 x 1,360mm and increase in 500mm increments: 2,120 x 1,360mm; 2,120 x 1,860mm; 2,120 x 2,360mm, etc.
Weights start from around 250kg.
