The track incorporates wheeled carriers, operating within a rail for optimum stability and smooth operation, even on large or angled windows. A self-aligning function ensures the vanes all hang in perfect alignment.
The traditional Astralux Venetian blind is almost blackout when closed, and can provide full light when completely open. In addition, the positive and smooth operation, combined with style and aesthetic appeal, makes this system unique. The system is available in a number of variants in order to satisfy specifiers’ requirements, and can be built into glazed panelling to create a co-ordinated window-dressing and partitioning system.
Composition and manufacture
Vertical blinds are available in a wide range of standard flame-retardant fabrics, solid or perforated PVC or specialist sunscreen fabrics. The Astralux Fabric Selector includes sample swatches and performance data for all standard fabrics. Internal Venetian blind slats are available in aluminium or wood. Both systems offer a large selection of colours.
