It can be used as a wearing surface or as an underlayment under epoxy screeds, coatings, finishes, carpet, vinyl or other resilient floorcoverings. Up to 2,000m2 per day can be pump applied, significantly reducing downtime in fast-track projects. High strength, high wear resistance and a fast cure make Pumpable Floor Screed PX-1 ideal for both new-construction and refurbishment projects.
Composition and manufacture
Cement-based, polymer-modified levelling screed manufactured to ISO 9001 standards.
Coverage
25kg units will cover 2.5m2 at 5mm thickness. For estimation purposes, allow approximately 1.75kg/m2 per mm thickness, although this may vary according to surface conditions and wastage.
Appearance
Available in a range of colours including Red, Green, Buff and Natural.
Performance
Compressive strength: >30N/mm2.
Wear resistance: BS 8204, Special Class.
Sitework
Pumpable Floor Screed PX-1 is typically applied from 5 to 15mm, depending on surface texture and smoothness. Many coatings can be applied to Pumpable Floor Screed PX-1 after an overnight cure.
