Specifically designed to be installed without the need for adhesive, Spacia Access provides an ideal solution for areas with raised access flooring, making it an ideal alternative to carpet tiles. Spacia Access offers versatility for many commercial applications, whether semi-permanent installations for offices, promotional areas in department stores, supermarkets, exhibitions, or permanent installations with the flexibility to easily adapt in area size and shape as needs dictate.
Spacia Access provides some of the highest levels of durability and acoustic performance, is fast to install (ideal for overnight refurbishment programmes) and requires no adhesive; tiles are effortless to remove and replace. Spacia Access also has the added benefit of being easy to maintain and offers higher levels of hygiene when compared to carpet tiles and many other alternative floor types.
Composition and manufacture
Tiles are manufactured from plasticised PVC using calendering and lamination processes, under both ISO 9002 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. All materials meet the performance characteristics specified under BS EN 649.
Size and weight
Spacia is available in a standard range of metric and imperial sizes. Typical weights are 4.2kg/m2.
Appearance
A wide variety of effects can be created by combining products from the extensive range.
Sitework
Subfloor should be sound, dry, level and where needed incorporate a damp-proof membrane. Tiles are recommended to be laid using a suitable tackifier. Installation procedures should be in strict accordance with the latest published Spacia Access installation instructions.
