Composition and manufacture
Tiles are manufactured from plasticised PVC using calendering and lamination processes, under both ISO 9002 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. All materials meet the performance characteristics specified under BS EN 649 and are classified as Type A material.
Size and weight
Amtico is available in a standard range of imperial sizes. Typical weights are 3 to 3.2kg/m2.
Appearance
A wide variety of effects can be created by combining products from the extensive range.
Sitework
Subfloor should be sound, dry, level and where needed incorporate a damp-proof membrane. Tiles should be laid using Amtico International SF, or universal 2-part adhesive under certain conditions. Installation procedures should be in strict accordance with the latest published Amtico installation instructions.
