In-situ floor finishes: AltroSeal, AltroCoat, AltroTect, AltroShield Seal

AltroSeal: UVR, clear, single-pack floor seal which provides a seamless finish with high resistance to abrasion and a wide range of chemicals. Can be used on concrete, granolithic and timber floors as a dustproofer. Dries to a hard, easily-cleaned hygienic finish.

AltroCoat: two-part coloured or clear coating. Good adhesion to most substrates. Forms a semi-gloss hardwearing film. Can be used as a sealer on cementitious floors to provide a dustproof, easily-cleaned surface resistant to oils, liquids and a wide range of mild chemicals, and to coat Green concrete (at least 2 days old).

AltroTect: two-part coloured or clear, high-build floor coating with high physical strength and excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. May also be used as a lining for concrete or metal silos, collector vats, effluent pits, and channels subject to chemical resistance. Can be used on rough surfaces such as render, pre-cast concrete and brickwork, provided the surface is suitable to receive the resin.

AltroTect Plus: two-part coloured or clear, contains filler which provides a slightly micaceous roughened surface texture for use in areas where a light degree of anti-slip surface is required. AltroGrip provides a more profiled surface by using AltroTect with an abrasive aggregate.

AltroShield Seal: two-pack solvent epoxy-resin floor coating, coloured or clear, which provides excellent abrasion and chemical resistance at an economic thickness. Used in warehouses, factories, chemical plants, medium and light engineering. Fine aggregates can be incorporated for a slip-resistant surface.

Composition and manufacture

AltroSeal: polyurethane seal, UVR, clear, single pack.
AltroCoat: two-pack, water-dispersed epoxy finish.
AltroTect: two-pack, high-build, solvent-free epoxy finish.
AltroShield Seal: two-part solvent, low-viscosity, epoxy-resin coating.
