Robust Details Ltd

Robust Details Ltd (RDL) was established in 2004 in response to the house-building industry's need for an alternative to pre-completion sound testing to satisfy Part E of the Building Regulations (England and Wales) and to provide a route to compliance for Part E, which may be used as an alternative to on-site pre-completion sound testing.

Building in accordance with Robust Details reduces the risk and uncertainty of remedial action being required on completed floor or wall constructions, with potential delays in completing the property.  In addition, some robust details qualify for credits under the Code for Sustainable Homes.
