LACoRS - The Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services

LACoRS provides advice and guidance to help support Local Authority regulatory and related services. 
Established in 1978 to coordinate the enforcement activities of trading standards, has since expanded its remit to food safety, environmental protection, private sector housing, licensing, gambling and a range of other regulatory and related services.

Central to LACoRS' work is the promotion of quality regulation, development of policy and dissemination of comprehensive advice, guidance and good practice and contribution to sector wide performance and improvement.
