Energy Institute

The Energy Institute (EI) is the leading professional body for the energy industries.  A Royal Charter membership organisation, the Energy Institute serves society with independence, professionalism and a wealth of expertise in energy matters, creating a home for energy professionals and a scientific and technical reservoir for industry.  It is licensed by the Engineering Council (UK) to offer Chartered, Incorporated and Engineering Technician status to engineers.

The purpose of the Energy Institute is the promotion of the safe, environmentally responsible and efficient supply and use of energy in all its forms and applications.  The Energy Institute works to accomplish this through services provided to individuals and organisations to benefit society as a whole.
